  1. Seeing that it has the wood rear section, I think buying a replacement wood kit from a supplier and trying to chop it would prove to be difficult, structurally speaking. You would almost have to have pieces made with a chop already considered in the design?. The side windows and the windshield would be fairly easy to chop, but the rear window section without a steel skin structure, the pieces would have to be one solid piece. I think if you purchased a pre-made wood kit from a supplier and brought the pieces to a cabinet maker to have new ones made with a chop already in the design. BTW, most coupes look fairly proportionate with a 2 1/2"-3" chop, anything more and the fenders and body look, well, disproportionate. JMHO.

    I was thinking 3 as a max. I'd love to do sheet metal and paint it like the 32s one of my favorite cars is the American graffiti car. This one's close

    Teacher.....buy a Model A book or two....and read it.....most have illustrations......I have many for reference....
