    Hi Folks,

Just before christmas i was searching the net for something to do when i came across a car that i had always wanted, but couldn't afford especially in this country. So seeing as the exchange rate was right :p we thought we would take the plunge and buy it, but to make it worth our while we had to buy some other stuff (to sell). So Taildraggin started buying allsorts!!!! (think he got carried away:eek:)

Anyway after delays (weather, Snow appartently) the container turned up today. We had just a couple of hours to unload a 45ft container:eek:. Didn't think it was going to turn up as the driver was late and had trouble getting to us (a couple of bridges that were 14'3 high, the lorry and container was 14'6, luckily he let the air out and just managed to squeeze under:eek:)

So we opened the doors and this is what we saw!!

Where's my toy??? i hope it's in 1 piece and as good as in the photo's!!!
So we drag the truck out.

Then i saw her. Yea i know there common as muck but she's mine:D
    [IMG]

So we dragged her out! I'm sooooo pleased:D a complete stocker with a rumble seat even started for a few seconds before the head gasket blew:(.

Here's the other stuff we've brought in.

Chopped, channelled and hemi powered sounds the shit to me!Will you have it on the road this year?Hot Rod Drags maybe Flathead meltdown or the Hayride?Shouldn't be to hard to register because it is what it is a Model ''A'' Ford,I wish I had started with such a complete car.Hope to see it about soon.

Nice one Daisy. It's always nerve wracking when a container finally arrives with something you have bought sight unseen, even if you have had someone check it out. I have had the whole gamut, from joy to total despair.

Your patience, and strong desire to accomplish what your passion really is, it's something to be admired.... to purchase and bring cars accross to England. In contrast to people here who whine and complain about prices and parts availability--when we have good swaps and cars for sale every weekend here in So Cal. Nice work!!!!!! Enjoy your projects.

I hadn't seen the car until the container was opened only in pictures didn't even have anyone check it out!!! So it was a bit nerve racking.
60'shotrod, i have done the flathead meltdown in my T rpu and took it round the oval track at the hayride last year. Hopefully it'll be about this year but it'll be stock (unless i can convince Taildraggin to at least do the chop)

Whoa, someone has been busy. I wish I had some of that stuff, but more importantly, I look forward to seeing what you do with it. Like others have said, after seeing your little blue one, the new one should be way cool.
