BTW...would it be too much to ask what kind of shipping $$ was involved in the purchase??

If you want to import just a car i think it's roughly about $2000. We went for a 45' container which came in about $8000, but that did include import duties and VAT!!!!! That's why we had to fill it!!!!

Daisyduke, i got the same problem! . I bought a 29 A sedan off here , six weeks shipping time to UK and now it plays up - fuel all over the carb and running out sometimes and back fires like a bar-stood! Ordered up complete electrickery and carb kit frm states that should be with me this week.

The car has ears of driving round California and thee US without trouble and starts to mess around as soon as I get it! just my luck. Still ...def worth the exchange rate and 1300 shipping - just gotta have a crash course on zeniths now and I'll be cruising it round the south of france this summer.

it is because of the altitude your country is at. It makes the gravity fuel flow to the carb screwed up. somehow -

I love that sound!! That's cool you got it cranked. Keep going - you'll be complaining about the brakes next!! ha ha
