Looking for, but haven't found as of yet, a 14" steering wheel that smacks of a 50's ford pick up style wheel and will bolt directly onto a later GM column without a grant type adapter. I'm going to go keep looking. Thanks in advance.
14" is tough without going to some of the higher end custom one off manufactured wheels, but in 15" these look really nice and fit perfectly on the newer GM columns: https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Speedway-1940-Ford-15-Inch-Steering-Wheel,25106.html https://www.speedwaymotors.com/47-54-Chevy-GMC-Truck-15-Inch-Steering-Wheel-Black,405807.html
Is it going in a very small car? 14” in my opinion looks too small and modern . No doubt you have seen the 15” GMC type wheel speedway do.
This is a 16" Juliano's Crestliner wheel in my 41 PU. I had the rim hydrodipped and clear coated. It fits any GM column without using an adaptor because that is how I ordered it. Quality is spot on. Not cheap tho.
I got my DRIVERS LICENSE, FIRST TICKET, SLICE OF NOOKIE in a 1941 Ford Pickup. Never seen a steering wheel like that while I was in that cab....! I must have been distracted or something????
It's going in a 52 ford F1 that has a GM tilt column in it. Its got a 14" chevy wheel in it now and its tight for me. I've seen the GMC and '40 wheel at speedway. Probably what i'm going to go with.
