There is a new wave of hot rods being built...not rat, not hot not street, or custom...its hard to get use to, but what a concept...take a used up Vhaul boat and sit it on top of a Bronco frame and power it with a 318 mopar....it was licensed and driven several hundred miles to the show...like it, hate it..comments?

I think it is kind of cool. You sure don't see many of them being built, I am not really usre if it is a trend that I would follow or would want to see followed. However to see some one with the imagination, ingenuinity, and the means to do it and then the gumption to present it, I would stop to admire it.

obviously ain't HAMB friendly, but if he has the time to spend and chooses to use it building that, I think it's great, one more old car left for me, and he's havin' fun- win win.

Normaly Id just pass on a thread like this but there are way to many such threads lately. What part of TRADITIONAL HOT RODS and CUSTOMS is so hard to understand. Thats what this board is for. This seems to be a pretty common thing with you members that are fairly new 2006 and above. This type of shit doesnt belong here. Im not the HAMB police by any means. But someone post some actual significant info or ask a pertanent question geared towards this board and it dissapears within minutes. Enuff already.

One reason why a lot of tech-savvy people aren't bothering to post articles anymore....

It reminds of the art car movement....when art and hot rodding attempts to come together.

I despise this movement. One year I volunteered at the HCPU and saw a giant skull on a S-10 frame and SBC attempt to get entrance. That is not hot rodding.

  14. Thats as bad as putting a Pinto on a Broncho chassis!

Super GAY for sure. You must have a mullet to operate that.

  16. okay if you are driving in the carPOOL lane...the more crap like that on the highway the more chance that they will hyperregulate our cars...that belongs on a trailer...a boat trailer

Come on GREEZY, theres been alot worse on here that gets press, SHOP DOGS, SICK WIFE'S, VISITING AUSTRALIA and so on. Who cares, but we as family listen and share our thoughts? None of those are related to traditional HOT RODS? Atleast this toic has a motor and wheels. Which pretty much anything with wheels and/or a motor is OK in my book (but who am I). The reason I love the HAMB so much is due to the variety of topics between a bunch of peple sharing the same interests and lifestyle. Remember were all one big happy family here on the HAMB and some of us just like to share their thoughts with their brothers and sisters.
Back on topic, it looks like a hillbillys wife told him to get that dam boat thats been leaning against our trailer out of here. So he took it and set it on an old pee-cup frame he had laying around, stepped back and said.....HEY........SHIT YEAH!!!!!! HONEY COME HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You consider that a Hot Rod? Uh-oh.

I'm with Greezy. Then why did I post on the trhread? I dunno. But I have posted many things on here not related and they have been deleted or closed. But I knew what I was getting into when I posted.

Plus you can't get all wrapped up in other peoples opinions, lifes to short for that.
