New Wheels and Tires... Finally

    Finally got my new wheels and tires mounted and installed.
    Thought I'd share.

    The tires are 235-75-R15 Dimension radials with a 1 3/4 whitewalls which were the widest I could find without going to Coker or the other really expensive places. I got them from Cross Midwest Tires. They also powder coated the corvette ralley's for me. The front wheels and spare are 15X7's and the rears are 15X8 reversed wheels they all have Police caps I ordered the rears and caps from Wheel Vintiques.

    HEHE..im saving atm for my wire wheels....but still got a kick out of mounting up freshly painted steelies and fresh port a walls....yummy...

    Feels good don't it!

    I gotta get me a pickup like that.

    Fwiw - the width of the whitewalls is period correct for the mid-late 50's far as I'm concerned.
    The whites I stuck on my 50 Ford sedan looked very similar.

    I like the small fact that they are radials.
    The narrow bias-plys look good on some cars, but if you do some digging and searching you can find radials that look very close to bias.
