New here and love old school dragsters and gassers. I live in long beach, ca and have a 64 falcon sprint hardtop, 64 falcon sprint convertible and a 64 falcon four door wagon. my question is for my 64 wagon here are the specs.
    engine: 260 rebuilt short block
65 289 cast iron heads that are gasket matched
    comp cam 280h cam
    Edelbrock torker intake
Quick fuel 580 vacuum secondary carb
Trans: built c4 with trans go shift kit
Art carr "2200-2500" stall but really stock stall
8" maverick rearend with 3.80 gear and a spool

just got my 1964 wagon going and got burnt on a new converter I bought at the swapmeet. The stall was supposed to be 2200-2500 but it is a stock stall which is too tight for my setup. I need a stall of at least 25-2600 but this little 260 doesn't put out a lot of torque so I'm wondering if I buy a 2500- 2800 if it will even go to 2500 it could be less right? Transmissions aren't my thing so any help is appreciated. Thanks

The reason no one answered you is because you have to do an intro first.Who are you, where are you from,What you do for work,What have you worked on then what are you working on now. This is not for asking question that's for the Main Board so try it again Thanks Veach

    Hey there Windsor64.
    First, welcome.
Second, like Veach said, this is the intros page. You could tell us a bit more about yourself here, but the advice he gave you about asking any questions over on the Main Message Board is spot on.
God luck here, and enjoy yourself
    Cheers.
