It is 182 pages not counting the Intro and title pages. 16,000 words of Ken Gross' research is on the facing pages. We took 100 copies to The Quail and Pebble Beach Concour de Elegance where they were honoring MacMinn last week and sold them all, obviously to people that were able to see the book first hand. Thanks, Bob

Bob: Received your new book last week and I am thrilled with it! The photography far sur-
passes contemporary efforts, the copy reflects Ken Gross' usual painstaking attention to detail, and the many fine ad libs by HotRod Jay Fitzhugh are superb. Knowing the fine quality of your other efforts with these books I for one didn't hesitate to step up to have this wonderful book in my library. Thanks again for making these photgraphs available to all of us who appreciate quality as well as history.

Got my copy today. The spare and elegant layout is beautiful, and Mac's photography really was excellent. I predict that those who have ordered the book will not be disappointed.

Great job, Bob (and Ken, and Mac)!

Steve Coonan and crew have copies of the book at Pleasanton this weekend. 100 copies went to Pebble Beach last week and sold out quickly. There is a review posted on the Hemmings site. Rodders Journal's mailing to subscribers is just going out.

  9. 50Fraud got his on the 20th last month, we bought on the same day and I HAVEN'T GOT MINE YET! Mail from the US to Australia takes 5-7 days door to door so I'm officially calling it late now that it's September.

(I hope this insn't another one of the TRJ problems...)

Got mine last week and spent the better part of one day just cruising through it and then another day going back and revisiting every page and checking every photo and then studying what Ken had to say. Without a doubt, the best book I've put on my shelf in quite some time.
