Hey everyone. I was told about this site by a buddy. I gotta say I can't get enough. The forums, cl***ifieds, they're all great. I have a harley that I've chopped, changed, made parts (both metal and wood) just to make it mine. I love all styles of the cl***ics, but I'd love to do a rat rod truck. Hopefully I can get my hands one that catches my eye. I look forward to sponging all info and ideas I can from the hamb. I know I'll be checking this site out daily! Hopefully I can eventually contribute. John
Thanks for the heads up on the "r" word. I didn't mean to offend anyone, I can appreciate all rods. I guess what I meant was I would like a working mans truck. Something with that sun kissed patina that only Mother Nature can provide. A truck that as stood the test of time and made it, although may need a bit of help getting back up. I appreciate the work that goes in as well as the results. I don't mind good "solid" vehicles that, like me are a little rough around the edges. Again no offense was intended, this site is a great one.
Hey there jzcon. It looks like you're a pretty quick learner - good for you. You've learned that the r word is bad without the usual flaming lots of others get. Enjoy your time here. Cheers.
Thanks for the greetings guys. I'm pretty stoked, I recently acquired a project from a fellow hamber. I now have a '41 chevy pickup to make my own. I can't wait!
