Newb here In need of advice....

In my estimation, Rat Rods are owned and driven by those people who are all about "The Scene". That is, there car is an assessory to their outfit, like a chain wallet or rolled up jeans.

Hot Rods are owned and driven by people who are about "The Hobby" and all about the cars. Hot Rodders will still be Hot Rodders when it is no longer cool in the manistream.

 

Why is it every new group here has to argue such a subject?
Isn't there better things to communicate on besides definitions.
Lets talk cars regardless of their nickname.
I like that car shown. Looks better than a (muscle) car anyday.
