Greetings everyone...new to the H.A.M.B., and will most likely be doing lots of lurking, reading, and learning :)
Whilst I am an avid hot rodder (when $$$ allows), my experience actually is with stuff not encomp***ed by the board...I joined H.A.M.B. to try and do the right thing, by asking someone's permission to use a photo before I do...to that end, is there a way contact a specific member through the board?

You don't need to "own" a traditional hot rod to participate, just have interest in them. Just stick to '64 or earlier hot rods or customs when you post and you're good. I don't think people mind if you ask questions or participate in any discussion, just leave out anything OT ( off topic ), and you will be fine. People will let you know pretty quickly if you are out of line. I would lurk for awhile to see what it's all about.

    Here's a quick tutorial:

Let's say you see a thread called:

"Anyone legally marry their '32 Roadster, and if so, did you make it sign a pre-nup?"

Maybe the most recent post might be:

"Hey 'deuceordie', are you really going to have custom acorn nuts fabricated from ***anium for your flathead, and it's only $12,000.?"

say you want to jump into the conversation, here are some "do's and don'ts"

    Don't # 1:

"Hey guys, check out the '32 ford sedan I rat-rodded, I grafted a Nova clip and also an old oil tank from my dad's ba*****t as a trunk. Also I welded this cool metal screaming skull onto the roof with a headlight in it's mouth...."

    Don't # 2:

"Hey guys, check out this '69 Charger that I went full-out 'Chip Foose' on, it has quadrupal turbos on a brand new LS3, I fabbed a complete molded plastic engine cover, and gutted the interior and retrofitted a complete tan leather interior from a totaled Dodge Viper..."

    Do:

"Hey guys, that sounds really interesting, do you have any pics? I dig '32 Fords and would love too learn more..."
