Hello everyone! Just joined up, been lurking off and on for a while now. I have gotten a lot of useful info from the HAMB already. Thank you for that.

I am 39 years old, been into cars off and for most of my life...used to "help" Dad work on them when I was little. Beginning to work on my 56 Ford Mainline after buying it then ignoring it for about 5 years. Doing power rack and pinion conversion, 3" drop spindles with disc brakes, all new suspension bits and pieces of course. Rear will be 9" with discs from a Versailles, not sure how much it will be lowered out back. Let's see...302 is torn down, GT-40P heads going on it with a mild cam, C4 with shift kit has about 200 miles on it. Body is pretty straight and pretty holey. Lot of patching gonna be needed.

Other cars: 73 Gran Torino Sport, 351C, AT. 06 Dodge Charger Daytona, K&N CAI, Flowmaster cat backs. 82 S10 V8 conversion project, will have a 305 my wife helped build (her first!) and 700R4 behind that. 82 Chevy 1-ton fer haulin'. 04 Hyundai Elantra for gas mileage. Mostly for me it's all about the 56 though.

  3. Welcome from Vancouver!

Quite a stable you have there; the '56 sounds like a good project headed down the right
track w/ your planned running gear. (We had a '55 Crown Vic long ago, but not so far
    away......Would-a, should-a, could-a.....)
