This seems like a cool board, I've been "lurking" for a while and decided to jump in. I enjoy fabrication, machine shop work and welding. I'd like to build an old skool hot rod in the future. I currently have a 1966 Mustang FB and a 1991 Mustang LX, It's a Drag radial car and takes a lot of work to run. The "66" is my car from when I was young, ended up doing a back half job on it in the mid 80's it has a 408 windsor motor in it and a "glide"
As crazy as it sounds I'm thinking of putting the "66" back to a stock suspention car, I left most of the frame rails in the car, I might need to replace the rear torque boxes due to frame mods but, time will tell. It currently runs a 28X10.5 tire and ladder bars, sits low and has a homemade fibreglass hood, cowl style, done before it was cool, I always hated the forward facing hood scoops. I'll try to post pics soon.
