    Hi,
I'm a newbee. I'm a retired Ford engineer and mainly interested in antique autos in general and Model A Fords in particular. I've owned a '22 Model T, '33 Ford, '16 Studebaker, and currently own a 31 Model A Ford Roadster. I do have a particular question - Can anyone tell me how to balance the Model A carb? I'd like to use aan air filter with the stock carb but I know it has to be modified (balanced). The stock carb fuel bowl is vented to atmosphere. When the air filter restriction is added it causes the engine to run rich unless the float bowl is at the same pressure as the air inlet. I've seen instructions on how to do this somewhere but don't remember where. Can someone help? MANY THANKS!!!!!!

Welcome. You need to post this question on the main board. I'm sure someone on here can answer it but they may never see it here on the intro area.....Don.
