Newbie alert!

Hi, I'm a newbie here. I'm mostly into VW cuttin' and choppin' but I also love the Ford '32-34 rods.
This is my latest find, a mid-80's custom that will get slammed.. The roof was chopped with a rake back then.
I'm goin' to use this as my daily driver until my real project is finished....
This one is sold. (summer 2004)


This is my main real project. It is a 1952 VW that becomes a roadster....


Here is my dad's project, a 1932 Fordor sedan.

 

FUCK! i suppose you read about us in VW trends.why don't you sell all your krautmobiles and start in on that deuce your dad obviously has no intention of finishing? then you'd have something that was worth something when you're done.i'd say 90% of the people here can't stand those goddamn VW's,but the 10% of whiny fucking crybabys that like'em kick up such a fuss it ain't worth arguing about.go fuck yourself

Welcome to the HAMB newbie, check out the VW thread it's one of the most popular we've had in a long time. Dub's are cool.. and everyone here is a "car" person. Granted this isn't a VW board, but all things German do pass muster once in a while.

There's been a bug or two in my family at one time or another also.
I think even a V-Dub (or 2) on the board, now there's more.
Don't sweat it. But ya better be careful; if ya hang out too long you'll want to own one of those big, overpowered, gas guzzling, home built death rods before you know it.
Its a disease, and unblike credit you can get it here.

There are ALOT of biased opinions on the HAMB, alot of stubborn asses, and alot of cool people... Feel free to post pics of your VW projects...there's another thread going on right now about VW's...I think they're great.

As for your dad's Ford....offer him some cash for it and lets see a build up!

Dad's '32 is supposed to be a Brittish made Fordor. How can you tell the difference? I've been doing some research about 1932 Fords and all I can find about is the US made ones. They all seem to have the doorhinges in the front and this one have suicide doors...

I've tied to talk him into leaving the job over to me, but still he have not trusted me with it... (We are two brothers..)

Yes, the project was stopped when my dad became blind 15-20 years ago... (dont remember exactly)

I knew it was,nt a USA Fordor.Heres my old European Fordor.
Same as a UK Fordor.Except the steering ofcourse.USA 2 & 4
doors had a steel inside frame and main floor frame while
the UK and Europeans had to do with a complete wooden inside structure. Plus of course the suicide doors. Chassis was the same all over the world for 32. To bad about your dad.

 

And just for everyones further education regarding 32s
here,s a European Tudor. If any photo choppers have a go at this pic you may finish my house gutters as well.

This forum is about traditional hot rods and customs; VW's do not qualify even if some can be made to look nice.
That other thread is another waste of server space. Enough said on that subject.

Sounds like you need to find your dad another hobby or a girlfriend. Clean out all that shit and start on the 32.
