Hey, thanks for looking! I'm new to the board, just had a question that maybe somebody can help me with. Has anybody heard of a Cadillac Dorea? I saw a photo of a '71 Coupe DeVille today, with what looks like a set of Landau bars on the sail panels and some added trim to the tops of the doors, along the belt-line. It was described as a Cadillac Dorea. I've never heard the name before, but the photo looks like some of the customs that were around in the early '70s. Mild custom, nothing really radical. I don't believe it's GM original. If you know anything about them, I'd appreciate your sharing the knowledge!

By the way, cadillacs aren't my interest, this just came up in conversation today and I'm curious to know more about it. I grew up on a used car lot in WV in the 60s and 70s, love most things automotive, really like antiques, rods, pick-ups, 'Vettes, Chevelles, etc...

Looking forward to getting to know more about this site and the members! Later....

You may want to repost this on the main board, this is the intros board. You may also note that the car you are asking about is newer than the usual requests on this site, since it's primarily a pre 64 board, but the members may still be able to answer the question especially if it's custom.:D

Welcome to the HAMB. I've got some family ties in the Waynesboro-Stuart's Draft area, although I'm originally from Grayson County (Mouth of Wilson).
