Newbie Art...By the way....MCPHAIL DOESN'T SUCK!!!

Hey guys I'm new here I was just gonna post some of my artwork... You can get more info about me in the Newbie section.....

Hope I didn't post too much...I just wanted to let you see a variety of my style...thanks.

 

McPhail, decidedly does not suck.

 

Saying McPhail sucks is fightin' words round here. Even if you're jokin'. That's like saying Cole can't do bodywork.

 

First post is a direct copy of Roths work. Assuming some of the others are copies I'd say that you really need to work on your striping skills and really, really need to work on your people skills. I would probably think that a few on us might think that your work sucks but wouldn't come out and say it because of politeness. You on the other hand obviuosly don't care about politeness.
Having said that, some of your work really shows potential assuming it is yours and not a copy.

 

I just posted that cause he is a good friend of mine....I definately know he doesn't suck....he is probably the best artist on here....You see Dennis is the guy who taught me all I know. He allowed me to hang out at his shop and let me learn from him....if it wasn't for him I would have a definate lack of inspiration.....I love his work. Dennis is not only the coolest artist I know, but he is the coolest guy I've ever met....he never told me to "beat it"....even when I was down at his shop almost everday...(this is when he had a shop in Wellington, KS)....I'm sorry if I offended you guys...I was just saying it as a joke.....I'm pretty sure we all know Dennis doesn't suck!!!!!!

Nice Art! Every friday is an art post, you need to start posting there for sure. The spiders and the dash girl are cool, good shading.

I have never met McPhail, but I have it on good authority that he definately sucks.

 

I don't know about devo but, Primus Sucks....

 

I KNOW McPhail Sucks, because he gave me this stupid button (I swiped the actual picture of the button from another HAMBer, though).....

Hey Barnett....you were an artist I always wanted to meet.....every time I went to Dennis' shop I had to admire the cool cutout he had on the wall....That thing was awesome....it was the one with the skull in a tophat...and it had a paintbrush on it.....it was actually an overlapping cutout...it had a spider web background and his eyes were on there too so you could see them though the eye sockets....hard to explain....but cool none the less.....

When something sux, i means it really doesn't suck. It used to suck, but now it means the opposite of suck, like 40 years ago, if it was bad, is was really good, which is the opposite of what is used to be, which was bad. Like in music it used to be hot, but then it was cool.
I think I got it, but then again maybe not.

 

I would love to man....but school is keeping me REALLY busy at the moment.....I barely have time to turn around.....I'm attending the Art Institute of Colorado and it is VERY demanding.....but keep me in mind for future reference I would love to do some paint work for ya.....Thanks.

 

Actually, the piece you're describing sounds like a Hamilton piece. Ron Palmer might have a piece or two of mine hanging near his work station, at the shop, but I think the only thing Dennis has, of mine, is "FULLKUSTOMMOFO" or something to that effect. Damn that Hamilton!
