Newbie Blues

    East Texas Newb here. Accidentally found this sight and WOW! Ya'll got it going on.

    I want to begin shopping for a truck to make a rat rod out of. I will never look at old wore out cars the same way again.

    Will some one point me to a couple threads that start with the "how to" basics? I would not tackle an engine rebuild right now, but taking one out and putting one back, yes. I am mechanically inclined and keep an 88 and 91 Jeep cherokee on the road as daily drivers with some modifications.

    Practice saying Hot Rod for a few days, and you'll be fine. (that's what I tell people who look at my half finished modified T!)
