Just recently found out about the H.A.M.B. while trying to diagnose fuel gauge problems on my 70' c10 fleet side. I liked what i saw and wanted to be apart of it. I have a few projects keepin my driveway full. Me and my brother are building up a hand me down 56' ford f-100, p***ed down through the ranks of our family from our grandpa who used it as his huntin' rig, alll the way down untill we got our grubby paws on it. We put a 460 in her, crown vic up front and out back, TCI shifter, carb, intake..still working out the kinks, paycheck by paycheck. In the mean time i got my self a nice lil 70' c10. It's been fun messin' around with her until i come across the parts i need to finish up a T bucket build. Started out as a fibergl*** body i found on the local craigslist. Got a set of 32' rails and some dash parts. i know what you're thinking..fibergl***? but Hell, gotta start somewhere. I plan to ditch the shell on some poor old soul, while i scour the interwebs for a decent priced steel body. I turned wrenches as a supervisor/operator/maintenance/swissarmy knife employee, cutting up steel and loading it out. fixing cranes and heavy equipment when the inevitable happened. Grew up with hot rods in the drive, p***ing wrenches for my old man until i got the itch enough to work on motorcycles with some buddies. After years of messing up, i got good enough to wrench for a division 1 speedway racer. learning the ways of Jawa, GM and other meth(ane) fed machines. If you dont know about speedway, imagine..0-60 in 3 seconds and NO brakes, while a single geared 500cc methane engine between your legs slides you through a dirt circle track. Lately i have turned back to my "roots" wrenchin' on cars and trucks. As of late I've picked up the pin-striping brush and every now and again a buddy gets drunk enough to let me practice on their car/truck. But enough about me...what about you?
