newbie from California

Hi everyone. I was told today that the reason there are so few auto part numbers for the early vehicles is that there were only a few parts and no one needed a catalog. So I joined to see if anyone knew the casting numbers off the front and rear drums of a 1941 Pontiac Streamliner. Better yet, if anyone has replaced Pontiac Torpedo drums, I would really like to know how you found them.

I am just poking around right now.
