My Name is Robert Leftwich I have been interested in old classic cars since I was a kid back in the fifties when my Dad did body and fender work for his friends. there were always old cars in our driveway that he was working on anything from 49 mercs. to 32 fords. He was a Ford Fan and I became a Chevy Fan. I have had 22 chevys over the years and only a couple of Fords, When I was 25 years old back in the mid seventies I did a frame off restoration on a 48 Chevy sedan delivery. I am not a purist, I lean more towards the Customs side of this hobby. I currently have a 48 Chevy fleetmaster sport coupe I call BOBDAWG, I am planning on doing a mild 50's style custom on it, I am upgrading the old 216 inline six to a 1961 chevy 235, and Putting in a 54 Chevy Powerglide rear end so I can keep up with Traffic.
