Hello to you all My name is Jukka and I´m 23. I have been lurking in here almost daily for about 18 months. Finally decided to register myself. I currently own a 1967 Plymouth Belvedere, cowl and doors out of a ´28 Chrysler + bits and pieces to build something out of. I was also recently able to purchase one of my dream cars a ´52 Hudson Hornet. I´ve always dreamt of owning one. Guess if I´m happy? I want to say a few words about H.A.M.B. I have learned so much and I have really been inspired and impressed by the stuff you guys and gals have done. The amount of knowledge in here is unbeliveable. In the time I´ve been lurking here I have seen OT posts where people have shared some really difficult things like deaths and illnesses and so on and it never ceases to amaze how you care about your fellow hambers. If there´s a family in the internet it`s here IMHO. Ever since I was little kid reading my dads magazines full of cool cars I have had a thing for traditional hotrods and customs. I feel that I have found the right place to hang around. Thanks to you all for making H.A.M.B. what it is and BIG thanks to Ryan, killer job. Jukka PS. Sorry about my spelling mistakes
Welcome on board Jukka! Where in Finland do you live? The H.A.M.B. really is a big family, thanks for joining us. Never too many scandinavians here. And you write better english than most hambers... Please post some photos of your cars! Hudson Hornets are one bitchin´cars! Haha, how do they know finnish swear words in Oregon, I thought they do that only around Seattle... lol --mika
I´m suprised to see that you know finnish! Even if it is cursewords. Hei to you too Mika, I live in the west coast too, in the most sunniest city Glad you accept me in. I´ll try to get some photos but I´m pretty useless with computers so it can take a while... Jukka
Tervetuloa Jukka! Kansakunta kaipaa kuvia! Now you are in the center of Finnish culture!! Propably you knew this, but for other Hambers; that curse word would be translated like "God Help Us!" (That is knowledge that you'll never need anywhere, but it's nice to know!) I'm not surprised at all, either, that somewhere around Seattle they know Finnish swear words... I've noticed that more than 1931 times; when Finnish people meet foreign people, they teach 'em Finnish swear words. Now that's culture!
welcome dude from P.A. read this post and its cool that you are here on the hamb lets see some pics man!!!!!
