Hey guys. Finally introducing myself after checking this site daily for awhile. I am 24 years old and bought my first classic a few months ago, a 1951 chevy styline deluxe coupe. Its needs a lot of work but I want to learn! In my opinion, there is no point in buying a complete old car. I like the saying I see around here, built not bought, thats what I will be doing. Trying to build it how I want it on limited cash so it will take some time, but be worth every penny. Stoked to be a part of the HAMB! Deadted
Welcome from the west coast of Florida. I admire your work ethic of building your car instead of buying a car. The cool thing is you will learn a great deal doing it this way and it will also give you a lot of pride when you see the car taking shape. I think learning is half the fun of doing it yourself and don't worry about making any mistakes here and there because that happens to all of us from time to time. Try and post some photo's of your car and the project from time to time and I think you will find plenty of people willing to offer advice and their knowledge which can be very valuable to someone who wants to learn. Best of luck. Jimbo
