been a lurker for a while now, so it was time to register. i'm a student from holland, i studie mechanical engineering (masters internal combustion engines next year). loved cars since i was a kid, develloped a good taste a few years ago, when i was introduced to the world of hotrods and kustoms. seeing the work of oldtimers like gene winfield and bill hines got me hooked just as seeing the mad fabricators dvd and guys like jesse james en cole foster. so i had to start somewhere and beeing a student on a budget and this here beeing europe where the merc's, chevy's and willy's aintt laying around, i started with an old volkswagen. try to make it as kustom as can be and when time (and money) comes hope to go on to the real deal. to pay for my studie and hobby i work for an oldtimer restorer that does facel vega's and sometimes we do 50's and 60's american convertibles. two weeks ago i worked on an caddy 62 from '59, loved it! i also do some pinstriping you can check here.
