I am new to the H.A.M.B and would like to introduce myself. I am 49 years old and have been around cars with my dad since birth. we mostly are ford freaks and enjoy the sound of early muscle cars but appreciate the time,sweat and blood put into aything with wheels. we currently are restoring a 1970 maverick drag car out of wisconsin. I am married and the wife helps out in the garage as well. I have 1 stepson but he likes the older chevy trucks which causes some interesting debates as to where the distirubutor belongs on a motor. I appreciate the material that has been posted about old haunts from my dads era of drag racing. it goes along with the many stories he has shared over the years of the old tracks which have been removed from our countryside.
