Hey everyone. I'm Cody and I'm from the SE part Kansas. This isn't my first post, cause I managed to not see this section before my first post, but it was suggested that I introduce myself. I've always been into old stuff. My first car project was my 88 (yeah not that old but it was suppose to be my driver, not project lol) Mustang GT with ttops that I pretty much completely re did. It's been a 10 year project that isn't 100% done yet but close. I gutted and remodeled my house and built a 24x40 shop which has delayed it, but it's kinda became a back burner project now. Move on to 2013, my in-laws told me they had an old truck at the farm that I could have. That's all the info I got about it. Turned out to be a 1950 Ford F5 grain/cattle truck with the 239 in it. It was in decent shape, almost rust free. It's getting turned into an F1 as the large truck wouldn't be practical and the cost of replacing the widowmakers is quite a bit. Keeping the frame in case I have a change of heart at some point. I joined this forum because it seems like there's a great group of people.
Welcome,I too am from central Ks.-Great bunch of guys here, they have put up with me for a while now and I know I have asked questions that seems pretty stupid to them but I think they know there are still a lot of us (no matter what age) just getting started. -keep on keep'n on
