Newbie From Kansas.

Discussion in 'New to the H.A.M.B.? Introduce yourself here!' started by Engine Pro 5X, Mar 25, 2008.

  1. Just having the morning coffee and figured I need to introduce myself. I'm a newbie in Kansas. Not to the game but to the board. I.ve been building engines and making **** go fast for about 37 years. **** tomorrow is my B-day. Anyway I like to collect **** and make things go-fast. I started the engine bizz because I couldn't afford to pay someone else to do my work. Many years later it's turned into a full time job. And some very neet people have crossed my doorstep. Years ago a HOT-ROD cat named Jim Allen brought this dude to me that was in need of an engine for his hot-rod. A 250 Cu-Inch 6-Banger,multi carbed, they said it went in an old Chevy. I fixed them up the engine would get multi gear scratch. The engine turned out fine and the dudes name that owned that old Chevy Hot-Rod was Dennis McPhail. I hope I can blend in here. Thanks!!!!!!

I did some research and visited a few back around 99. Many were party sites, as noted above, and permenantly pissed off the owners who wouldn't let me look around even though I was asking instead of tressp***ing. Pretty cool holes in the ground. Something makes me think Chapman has had some work done to it and has a new locked door at the entry.

If you get on 70 and turn north at that Abilene exit with the **** store, there's a silo not to far up the road on the east side. Guy there has quite a machine shop and does a lot of custom bike stuff. If you ask him nice he might let you look around.

I've been out to that one many years ago with my father-in-law, he kinda knows the guy, but I'm not too sure where the one by Chapman is.
