Hello all, I've been a lurker here seems like forever, and finally decided to dive in. Mostly due to the fact that i'm terrible w/computers! I'm sure as w/all here, I have been into cars as long as I can recall. My dad & uncle had some great muscle cars when I was young. My grandfather used to take me to MO-KAN when I was a kid (I was born in Pittsburg,KS). Those days had pretty heavy impact on me. My tastes slowly gravitated to more traditional cars.
Not much real racing experience, mostly high school drags & street racing. I have a 1yr old & a 3yr old that keep me real busy, car progress has slowed a lot! We own a '50 Ford Tudor Sedan w/a pretty angry 289 in it, a '62 Ford Fairlane 2dr sedan(289 4spd, I like 289's), & bits & pieces of '28/'29 A parts(hope to scab together a roadster one day). I've worked at ATI Procharger for the last 10yrs as a welder/fabricator, so unfortunately most cars i'm around on a daily basis are late models. But I have also been around & worked on some pretty serious race cars(Pro 5.0 & so on). It's a pretty cool job I suppose.
I hope to maybe contribute to the site w/some of my experience and mostly hope to gain much more knowledge here. As soon as I can figure out how to post pics I'll try to post some of the projects(again that computer thing, be amazed i've got this far!). Thanks for your time.....Paul!
