Ive been reading the forums for a while and decided to join. I like the atmosphere. my current project is an early 60s g***er style 59 gmc fleet option pick up. the plan calls for a wieand 142 supercharged .060 over 283 and a tko 5 speed. the trans and blower are not period perfect I know but I want to drive this thing everywere. no trailer queens in my garage. As far as the blower they make the 142 to fit the vortec heads. By the time I get to the engine I might find something that will work but right now I am learning my way with body hammers and a mig. The body is rusted pretty bad so thats my 1st priority. Anyone here close to lake charles, feel free to hit me up for a beer
