Sorry guys I posted before intoducing myself yesterday. I have a 54 convertible that has been in the family for at least 25 years. My dad used it as a daily driver for awhile and always tinkered with it along the way. He p***ed away in 2003 and I got it in 2006. It unfortunately has been sitting in my side yard since. Please no hate mail I know its wrong to treat a car like that. Anyway with that being said I havent been working lately so I started stripping paint to see how bad it really was and except for the usual rust not too bad. You guys have inspired me to get moving on this so as financials allow it will be moving into garage and hopefully back on road. In my defense months before he p***ed away he sent it to a body shop to get painted and re-worked, well that never happened and it took 3 years just to find the car. So when I got it back it wasnt running, didnt have doors, a hood, or the convertible top frame. I am just happy to be able to keep the legacy alive.
