hello im jesse from a lil town called mebane nc im 23 with 2 kids, they are the only thing i love more than cars my family has always owned a salvage yard or bodyshop and done mechanic work. my great grandfather was a blacksmith my current project is what brings me to joining but ive been reading post from this site for a lil over 3 years now. i always get great info from you guys. i am working on a 53 pontiac catalina 8 (ill get some pics this weekend) it is a west coast car with minor rust but some jackass shot all the glass out with a bb gun. looking to do suspension upgrade not sure witch way to take. i would like to keep mainly stock look outside keep steel wheels and hubcaps (i got a nice set of bonneville flippers). the engine i would like to stay pontiac if possible ($$) but may end up with a spare sbc 1955 265 or 1964 283/327 i already have. seen a lot of frame swaps and mustang 2 front clips even streight axle with the front of these cars im looking to save time and money more money than time. i also have a 65 fairlane 500 2drhardtop set in the back going streight axle gasser with this one (thats the plan right now but plans change) 71 and 55 2nd chevy trucks im planning something really nice with these they belong to my wife. we hunted down the 55 her father owned in the 70's and the 71 her brother bought in 97 both died in an auto wreck thanks for having me and all the great info in the past and im sure in the future
