Hello all, Been lurking here for a while. I,m hooked. Drag race fan. As a kid in the 60's spent most weekends at Brainerd drag strip outside of Chattanooga with my dad, he campaigned a 55 Chevy in D/Gas if I remember right. Helped a co-worker as a crewmember/flunkie on his 64 Mustang Super Stocker in the late 80's. Have just acquired a 1940 Dodge business coupe that's pretty rough. I plan on building a G***er style race car. Went to the swap meet at Atlanta Dragway this past Saturday and started the parts collecting process-bought a takeout front axle from a 54 F100. So now it begins.
