Hey gang....Kat from Sacramento here. I know, I know... what's a girl like me doin' in a place like this. Daughter of an old school fabricator, who fell in love with all things classic decades ago. The old man got tired of me stealin' his rides on the weekends and told me to build my own. So.... got my own '39 Chevy Business Coupe and stumbled across your site. Let the fun begin.
Hello from Calgary! Great to see women get into the sport. What have you done to the '39 thus far? we'd love to see pics!
Unpacked it...haha Seller said there were a few spare parts inside. Holy Moly Batman, it was like Christmas this morning. Found the original windows (w/hardware, mouldings and brackets), a spare grill, original lites front and rear, all the trunk hardware, oh yeah a gas tank and a torque converter. Plus every rim he ever wanted to get rid of and never did. Then there were the life preservers and fishing net... still can't figure that one out, and enough rope to hang myself.
Here's a couple pics. Got my work cut out for me. Measured it up for the 4link with coil overs, which I managed to locate at the Autorama this weekend, pick it up on Tuesday. Once I get that welded in, it's on to the front end.
