Not really good at this sort of thing but here it is. I'm a little late getting into hot rods. Turned 34 in Feb. and just bought a 49 Chevy Styleline Deluxe. Life, careers, money and kids and such have kept me from getting into building my own car until now. I've helped friends build cars back when we were in high school and it's finally my turn. I've always loved the traditional style cars and rods. I'm not a big fan of the easter egg colored, stuffed animal filled, only as nice as a pocket book is deep customs and rods. I've always had a great respect for the 40+ hr a week, weekend grease monkey who spends his time doin it himself cause time and or money is a factor not to mention the pride of drivin something you've done all the work on. Hoping to learn alot and perhaps contribute. Respectfully, norcalxl
Welcome to the HAMB. I know there's a good skatepark up there, glad to hear there are like-minded gear-heads up there too. Bryan
