I am a lifelong Hot Rodder currently living in Aurora,Co. but spend most of my time in the Van Nuys area of SO. Cal. where my business is located. My wife works for the airlines so I come and go quite a lot. This is my '56 Chevy that I have owned since '84. I finally got serious about building it about 4 yrs. ago and got it on the road last week. It has a full Allston tube chassis, 4 link, 5" chopped top, aluminum interior with aluminum dash, M-22 4 speed, tilt fiberglass front end and fiberglass bumpers. I still need to install a glass front windshield, but other than that it is street legal. I built the headers with 14" Spin Tech muffler connected directly to the collectors and dumping out just behind the front tires.Car is too low to run pipes all the way back. I did all the construction on the car by myself at my shop in Van Nuys. Hope I didn't ramble on too much, finally glad to be a part of the group---SDR Mike
