Hi yall. I've lurked around this board for awhile now, and thought since I was getting ready to restart my project, I'd join and make it official. My current project is a 65 Riviera that was an older custom that was chopped, shaved & lowered. It still has the original nail, which will be staying put, but the interior is a little long in the tooth, and a cat managed to do a little bodywork. Anyway I look forward to seeing what other folks are up to, and helping out in anyway that I can.
Here are some pics before the cat and the heat! The guy(s) that did the original work really did a fine job on the body.
Thanks for the welcome folks. I don't have the heart to show the "after the cat" pictures, but now I just HAVE to make it a 2 tone with a pinstripe. Darn cat!
Bring that beast out to the HAMB breakfast on the 11th. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=369851 Bart
Speed I would love to, just got it in a few more pieces than I originally planned. How about a rain check? I'm going to try to have it back in 1 piece by the end of Aug.
Slick Riv my brother, I've always loved the Riv's, owned a 66 and a 72 boattail. Welcome to the HAMB..

Did this MS "Paint" image long time ago......taillights and bumper should end up like this, but the color doesn't tilt my kilt. Prolly silver/black with a burgundy interior.
