Sup, Long time lurker, so I figure it is about time for an intro..... Not too many websites out there that you can click on daily and learn something new and exciting, be in awe of another's talent, and rediscover some of the great works of art and moments in history. I consider myself very fortunate to have found this site, because here, all this and more can be found. I owe a huge amount of gra***ude to all the folks involved in this here interweb page a ma jig. One of the highlights of my day is when I get a chance to sit down, relax a minute and see what pops up on the old HAMB. So to all involved here a give you a big THANK YOU! The majority of you guys piss more talent at this here art than I can ever dream of having. That said, it does not keep me from loving the cars, the culture, the art, and giving it my best shot. Right now I have a 49 Chevrolet pick up and a 51 Merc. Merc is a 4 door that is completely stock cream puff with the exception of a repaint. My plans for it are pretty simple, lower it, take out the ole merc-o-matic and replace it with a C-4 and adapt to the flathead. Put a little go go power in the motor, loose the chrome, new shiny paint and fresh interior, maybe a Desoto grill. Going for a mild traditional custom for the wifey and the kids to cruise. Have not got started on her yet, want the truck finished first. The truck, is my baby, love that freakin' truck. The pictures below are pretty much how it was when I got it. She is torn the freak apart right now. Should have her back together and "mine" before too long. Don't want to ramble.......so here are a few pics, thanks again to all for sharing your talent with us. Had to throw a pic of jr in there too, who said punk is dead?
