Very nice Vinnie, is that a two-tone paint job or is it just the sky reflecting off the top making it look like a lighter color? Very nice car.

So, is Vinnie a normal English name? Sounds more like someone from N.Y.C.

    Hi OldsGuy,

The car was a two tone, the roof was slightly lighter and it had ghost flame (same color of the roof) on the front. These picture were taken last february the same day I went to collect her from the shop who did the roof chop. Now all the paint is gone. This winter will be stripped down and all the rust replaced with new fresh panels (floor and rockers, etc...).

Vinnie is the short for Vincenzo...I'm italian and been living in London for the last 13 years.

    Hi Monkeybiker,
Are you on the Nsra site as well? (same username?)
Under the hood there is a 350/350 combo pulling a 10 bolt axle...all apparently coming from the same donor vehicle. The job was done by the previous owner in North Dakota in the late 80s.

Good looking car, nice to see it here, where in London do you hail from?

    Hi Dave,

I've been reading your post on the NSRA.
    I live in Chingford.
A couple of years ago I was planning to move to California but my other half wasn't really up for it so I gave up.

  9. Yep, that's me...
Bit quicker than our old crate then!
Nice chop by the way - where was it done?

    Hi Monkeybiker,

    What car do you have?

The chop was done by the person I reckon is one of the most experienced in England...Paul Burnham. Since than I have a silly grin on my face.

  13. Welcome aboard.

I remember seeing that car around a few years ago at Hemsby.
Had the ghost flames but not chopped.
What are your plans for it?

    Hi Marq,

I use to come up around your area a while ago as there was a friend of mine from Milton Keynes organizing gigs.

Yes I go to hemsby and I never miss one for the last few years, well the car missed a couple.
Now the car is a bit of brownish, blackish, rustish and the chop was done only last winter.
The plan is to strip it this winter and add bags on all four corners, replace the rusty bits and maybe put a coat of paint.
Still not sure about the front end. I have the original one that even if I rebuild it two years ago is not the best set up.

    Hi Vinnie,

Get some pics up of the car in its latest guise, it looks mental, a true driving work in progress.
