Just checking in to say "HI!" to all the HAMB members that I have been reading. Really appreciate all the great info that has been posted. I'm running a chopped and channeled '37 pick up and building a '31 5 window with a Nailhead. Just returned from Bonneville and was encouraged to post this initial thread. george775
george good to see you here. thanx for your help with getting jon's coupe going again. the can shield worked flawless. go to billetproof huh? pachi
You bet! We rolled down to Antioch last year for Billetproof X. Is there any effort to get the Nevada/I80 crowd to run down to the Bay Area together on Friday? You are welcome for the first aid at Bonneville. My pleasure to give a hand. Geo-
Thanks! Nice meeting Jake and seeing you again. I posted pictures at 2007 Revolution II pictures and Tardel Open House 2007. I think you'll see your blue two door there and a candid of Jake. Just scored a small pile of Model A tin from a fellow out in Stage Coach. Windshield visor, window regulators, door hardware, etc. You have a source recomendation for longer wheel studs? I'm adapting my Ford hubs to Buick fin brake drums and the studs are about 1/2" too short. I'll be hitting the Reno vendors this week. I'm also working on the Buckminster Fuller Dymaxion at the museum. It is going to the Ford Museum for a 6 month loan. It's like a cross between an airplane fuselage and a flathead ch***is! Geo-
Few snaps of Buckminster Fuller's creation and a few links http://www.thirteen.org/bucky/qt/cop.qt http://shl.stanford.edu/Bucky/dymaxion/dymaxion2small.mov http://www.time.com/time/specials/2007/article/0,28804,1658545_1657686_1657677,00.html http://shl.stanford.edu/Bucky/dymaxion/movies.htm#
Thanks for the greetings from the great state of Texas! (BTW, I did find longer wheel studs in a thread originally posted gashog and others.)
