Hey all, new member here from Northwest Indiana. Typically more into late model cars but I'm anxious to start an old hot rod. Just checkin out the boards, feeling the market and lookin to pick up on a 30s-40s truck, preferably a straight roller w little rust. Looking forward to chatting and learning all I can learn!
I'm 62 years old, stilll do a little work to make living. Just discovered and signed up on this web site... have a 66 c-10 chevy pick-up 283, 4-speed granny gear. I drive it almost every day, interior is fine, radio works when I jiggle anntena wire. I've rebuilt brakes, and put in a flowmaster exhaust, why? Someday, will rebuilt it, it still looks ok, but a bit of rust all around.... next step, I want to remove bed, have it redone and primed, replace old wood bed with new one, then go from there. Enjoy reading what all you guys are doing and admire the ideas and inenginuity you guys come up with..... Only in USA folks... Only in USA do we have people like this..... thanks
