Hey everyone, i'm new to the site but have been reading on here for awhile. Lots of good info! I am into everything and anything with wheels. I've been turning wrenches for along time for only being 25. My dad worked on a pit crew and was a mechanic so I spent alot of hours at the track or at the shop. I can always remember doing some kind of motor work on the weekend with him on his little projects. I am just another poor guy that had to learn how to doing things because I couldn't afford to pay someone and I found out how much I enjoy the mechanics and metal work. I hope to pick all of your brains for some good info.
I live in Pierson, its about 30 minutes north up US131 from Grand Rapids. I do have a project going but it probably wouldn't be to anyones liking on this site. I read alot of magazines like Rod & Custom, 4-Wheel Drive, MiniTruckin, and Street Trucks, to get new ideas and find different parts for my projects. Alot of the time I find the answers to my questions in those mags. I hope to learn alot from the older guys and make some new friends as well.
I do need some help on finding a place near Grand Rapids to get a piece of gl*** made or cut for the back window of my truck. Anyone in MI able to help out?
