Well, I've been on here for awhile now but have never posted. I just lurk and learn a bunch of new stuff. I thought now would be a good time to finally introduce myself. My name is Bryan, I'm from Warren MI. I'm 25 years old. I just got into the older cars a few years back. My boss is building several mid 30 era's fords, and after being exposed to it for years I finally bought my first project last October. I'm also into sport compact cars (yeah I know). I have a 1949 ford tudor sedan disguised as a 1951. I bought it from some dude who said it was a 51' but I knew something wasn't right about it seeing as it had the gas cap like a 49'. After digging into the car I know for sure it is a 49'. Anyways, I'm in the process of chopping the top right now. Two weeks ago I removed the top, and now I'm starting to line everything back up. It probably won't be done for at least a year. I also have a 39 ford pu that I bought off of Levis Cl***ic. That is currently on the back burner until I get the 49' on the road. Basically I'm a poser right now. I'm just learning how to weld and fabricate. I work with metal but on a completely different scale (jewelry). But the main thing is that I'm having fun and I'm excited about it. Hope to meet some hamber's around here in the future. I went to the billetproof show this year, so I"m sure I saw some of you. Thanks Bryan
Welcome to the HAMB... Don't bring up the "tuner" thing, and we'll try our best to forget you said it. What kinda jewelry do you make? (I make body jewelry, and s***** leather ****) Steve
I won't bring up the tuner thing anymore. Although if you saw my car you wouldn't think it looked that bad. I'm not into big wings and clear taillights.
