Greetings from the Big Easy! It took me awhile to get my own old car, but after waiting and searching, I finally found one. I picked up a 1950 Chrysler Royal Club Coupe when I was living in Texas about a year ago. Unfortunately, I haven't had the facilities to work on it yet, but I'm due to close on my first house next week, and the work will finally begin. I've got lots of big plans for this car and I've already found some good information here that will be very useful. The Royal is currently rocking the original 250 cid flathead 6, and a semi-automatic ******. A friend of a friend (you know how that goes) hooked me up with a Ford 460 for the car, which I plan on coupling to a standard ******. Anyways, good to be here and I look forward to checking everything out!
Awww hell, I just got back from NOLA. Went down for Al Copeland's funeral [old friend], and hung around for Jazz Fest.
