hey guys, just joined this forum. ive been reading it for quite some time and decided i should join in. well, what i have just got started on is a 31 model a sedan that my dad had left to me, ive wanted to build it for years but i didnt really have the cash or the time to build it. well looking forward to keep reading and learning from you guys and hopefully i'll be able to have some ideas or opinions on some things myself and be able to join in sometimes. heres a few pics of what im starting with and how far i have to go.

Welcome Bro from Stillwater, OK. Before you chop that 8.8 up, if it was factory hung that same as the one out of a Lincoln Contentential and was hung with a tringualted 4link from the factory, Id suggest you keep the stock mounts. I didnt and regret it. If you ever want to come over to check out the 35, feel free to send me a PM. Ill be around in November.

cool thanks for the info dirk35 and yeah i'll have to take a look at your 35. and goztrider im in cushing, it was my father inlaws truck. i was lucky to have a dad and father in law who were both into cars. my dad restored quite a few model a's back in the day, my brother got a restored 1929 roadster and i got the sedan. i also have the 70 camaro that my father in law built.
