Have been lurking for quite some time, but was motivated to register because the changes to the board wouldn't let me see some of the posted pictures. Have since pre-teens been interested in making stuff from wornout cast-off pieces, starting with Model A's in junior high. Currently working on a '52 Chevy PU with a .40 over 235, '53 vette cast iron exhaust, two Holley Webers, T-5 five speed, ford 9 inch diff. Put Pinto-Mustang II front end under it, manual rack & pinion & disk front brakes - so ford bolt pattern front & back. Was a father son thing until my son passed away. But I'm now determined to finish it even though I can no longer share it with him. Now it needs tin bending, paint, glass, upholstery and I think - shiney paint.

Sorry for your loss. Buiding the truck is a great way to keep part of him with you. Welcome to the HAMB from Texas. My dad dissappeared nearly 7 years ago and working on my hot rods has helped me keep my sanity. So take it from someone who has been there....it will help.
