Newbie, please help.

    hi, im new to this site, but im looking for help on 60-62 chevy pickups with torsion bar front ends. the vehicle is a 62 chevy pickup. what i need help with is im looking for replacement torsion bar bushings or, ones that interchange. thanks michael

    try online: lmctruck.com they carry 1960-68 Chevy suspension parts. Sure there must be more.

    yea....if i could of found them at LMC or any other parts place. i wouldnt be asking for help on here...thanks though

    I've had the best of luck at NAPA. They seem to have the best cross reference books. Instead of looking for specific mid 50's u-joints, they said that late model GM pick up units were a direct bolt in with grease fittings that weren't on the originals. Stabilizer strut bushings for the same car were cross referenced to much newer units too and worked fine. Won't say all NAPA are as good, but I've had really good luck with 3 different shops so far.
