Hello out there in the H.A.M.B world! I am originally from Texas and after joining the military in 1983 am now homesteading in Nebraska via the Air-Force (retired in 2003). My project is a '57 Ford p/u (style-side) I purchased in the local area. I know there is a load of experience out there and would like to avoid some of the mistakes I know I am going to make. Thanks in advance for your time and experience.
Just a suggestion before someone rips you a new one. But maybe introduce yourself and if you have a vehicle and what kind? At least say hi or something. Anyways welcome, this is a good place to learn a lot.

My dad was a 20 year Air-Force vet. who served in Nam also ('66-'67) AFSC-90270 Medical service Tech. Retired out of Sheppard AFB in 1974.
