There's nothing wrong with mustangs... although the smaller body style of the 65-66's are a bit pussylike (except the 2+2's, they are nice). I love my 68 GT convertible with the HiPo 289... it was my 1st car and I will never sell it... even though my fucking ex blew it apart and then left me and it.... and its still in pieces. I mean tell me, why the hell would you remove the original windshield to install new floor pans? I will never let a boyfriend work on my cars ever again. What a terrible lesson learned. Oh, I got off the point there (embarrassed laugh)... anyway, I hate shit made in China. I'll always pay more for stuff that is made in the US... and I always look to see where stuff is made! Just doing my little part.
You tell 'em, Gracie! I know Mustangs ain't traditional hot rods, but they were in all the Hot Rod mags and other titles during the mid-sixties as part of the first wave of funny cars and factory stockers; light car + big/fast engine = shag nasty drag racer! And yeah, the early fastback 2+2's always did spin my crank! Yeah, I grew up in the sixties, what about it? Kinky6 BTW, Gracie, if your '68 GT is still in 'Bama, I know someone who can help you out with it.
