If that truck reflects you, you must have a bunch of open sores, boils and hives! See a dermatologist. And good luck on the project!

I'm digging that truck. Maybe some clear over that patina and an engine and brake system rebuild? Bet that beauty wont take much.

Why no body work and paint? Does it have a history?

You got the cinderblocks set up in your backyard for her already? The weeds will get that lowered look back in no time.

Invest in some jack stands, cindercrete blocks are NOT safe especially when used on there side as in the photo. Your young and all of the Hambers are aware of succession planning, so keep yourself safe and building OT vehicles a long time. By the way I have never seen a 5 window Mopar truck before, are they rare or just not available in Canada?

  22. Those didn't have studs in the drums....they came with BOLTS that hold the wheels on.

    Welcome aboard!

I used to have a Pilot Cab that was fixed up by another HAMBer.
Lot's of easy upgrades, mine had front disc brakes, Ford 9", & 12V with a GM 10SI Alternator...

    Post pics of your progress!

Thanks guys! I rustled up bolts for both sides and some old 5 on 4.5. My buddy at my local tire shop set aside some old 14s he collected the past couple of weeks to donate to my project!

  26. Well no doubt someone is going to take this the wrong way, I hope.

If the look of that truck is a reflection of your personality I would not want to hire you to work for me. ;)

If by not changing it you mean that you don't plan on body mods that that is an entirely different story. But to leave it the way that it is and say that it reflects your personality to most people with half a brain it would mean that you are pretty slovenly.

    I'm just sayin'

Welcome aboard anyway it takes lots of different folks with lots of different strokes to make up a community.

Yeah, looks like rusty heap. I'd be working on body and paint shortly after making it run and stop

What i mean is paint and body. i plan to swap everything underneath and a possible flatbed. always liked the old flatbeds. i can appreciate the spirit in which a rat rod is built in, . . . that being said ...i disgust rat rods
