    Ditch the mirrors at least...

  2. Well you can take a ribbing. You'll do fine, no matter what you do with your truck, you'll do fine.

  3. Sits a bit too high,...needs some of them lowering blocks under the drums.

Welcome and good luck with your new truck,..and garden bed :)

  6. I think several close range shots with a 12 guage would really set it off for the look your goin for! How is the interior? Keeping the mice that live in the seats?

Looks like you could have a fairly good start for a project there. If you spend enough time here on the HAMB, your tastes might likely change. I would just focus on the mechanical stuff to get it going and stopping first as mentioned already. And, my 2 cents would be to keep the bed that is on it. It looks to be pretty nice.

Welcome to the HAMB from another Okie!

looks like a good starting point.a good big v8, to motivate! its good to see young guns leaning toward the older iron instead of rice rockets.now dont take this personal, but, ive noticed over the yrs, (now mind you this is just me) that a car or truck just in fact may be a reflection on the owner,to some degree.i know people who drive a vehicle that looks like shit, inside and out.and when i go into their shop it looks just as bad. i dont mean messy i mean nasty, oil still all over the floor ,empty oilcans or bottles now days , overflowing the trash can, tools everywhere.even walked into one shop and had to step over dogshit to get to the tool box.that kinda nasty.then when you walk into the house its not much better with clothes everywhere, dishes in the den with dryed out food on them.not sayinmg your that way but ive run into it alot.then i have freinds whos cars are great inside and out. so is their shop and house.ive always taken pride in what i drive.i have to have ny cars clean and with shiney paint. its just me.even my engine bays are painted and clean as welll as the engines.my shops get messy but never nasty but the house well thats the wifes so it stays clean with everything put away.or i get the boot(in the ass).lol i quess what im trying to say is when i see people driving cars that look that way it runs thru my mind that they have no pride in themselves or their vehicles. or they are too lazy to finish it.now this is just me.i dont know how other people fell dont really care but i do know a lot of people feel the same as i .but we shouldnt care what other people feel or think about or cars our cars dont have to pleas no one but us.i dont even know why i putr this out there, but im not gonna erase it now, that was to damn much typing.lol oh yea,i do know people whos rides look like shit but their shops and houses look great and visa versa.!!

  10. Welcome to the HAMB! Your truck looks like a nice solid piece. As you can tell already opinions are like a$$h*le$, everybody has one. Some are just bigger than others. Then some will write a book on what is right and wrong with society just by looking at their car/ truck. Have fun and good luck!

Looking forward to seeing how project turns out!

  16. They refer to those old Dodges as a "Pilot House" model due to the look
of the cab. For basic info on the model, you might check in with the
Pilot House forum at the P15-D24 website. Show em a pic of what you
have. Replacing a window is fairly easy since they are flat glass. You just
need a good one for them to copy the size and shape.

You might possibly want to put some more period correct outside rearview mirrors on
    it, however.
